Mix ingredients in a bowl until very smooth. Heat fry pan with a smallamount of oil, not so hot that that oil sizzles. Pour 1/4 c of batter intothe center of the pan. It should spread to about 8'' in diameter. Cook fora minute or so (much like pancakes). Replenish oil after two shells. Bevery careful not to overheat the oil. (It will boil and the bubbles willpuncture the shell.) Makes 12 shells.
